PEAT (Primes Energy Activation and Transcendence) is the collective term for a group of psycho-spiritual techniques, which were developed by the Serbian psychologist and mystic Zivorad Slavinski. Like all other methods of Slavinski, which he named Spiritual Technology in its entirety, they are aimed to solve personal problems and at the same time promote ones spiritual development.
The way in which the problem solution is achieved, varies from technique to technique. But basically, it is achieved by the gradual energetic discharge of the problem and / or the progressive tracing the problem back to its origin and subsequently integrating the polar opposites, which are at its origin. In this case one transcends duality and experiences the underlying unity of all existence.
The attention, which is fixed on the problem and the consequent negative feelings are therefore dissolved in the experience of higher states of consciousness. Thereby highly polarized views about the problem can give way to completely new non-dual perspective whereby personality development is maximally stimulated.
PEAT is particularly effective when it comes to eliminate emotional charges, and to get rid of automatic response patterns that prevent inner calmness, serenity and the development of constructive relationships. They are among the best psycho-spiritual tools for real and permanent transformation. The result of these processes is greater freedom of automatic and compulsive reactions to familiar circumstances.
One of the most interesting and valuable results of the application of PEAT is the discovery, awareness and integration of the so-called Primes (= primary polarity or personal code) of an individual. The term Primes refers to the poles of the most fundamental polarity in one's life, which constitutes the core of ones toughest and most painful problems.
The integration of the Primes, so the claim, solves the most basic problem of a person forever.
With the integration of the Primes it comes to the integration of the opposites embodied by them. Then suddenly one can see each of the two poles in its counterpart, and the two become one.
. Examples for Primes are:
. I vs. Others
. Love vs. Fear
. Creativity vs. Destruction
. Freedom vs. Responsibility
. Strength vs. Weakness
. Peace vs. Restlessness
. Bliss vs. Loneliness
But what is the value of the integration of the Primes? On the one hand for perhaps the first time in one’s life one has an experience beyond polarities, a peak experience of the fundamental unity of all existence, which has been declared by many saints and mystics of the past and present and which has become famous under the term "enlightenment". On the other hand, usually immediately after the integration of the Primes one clearly understands, what kind of life game one has been playing obsessively and in many variations and how one has unconsciously moved from one pole to the other back and forth since birth.
The promise for the integration of the Primes is the liberation from one’s own deepest compulsions. One can still play the same games, but now has the freedom to choose whether one wants to. In addition, new and old problems can be solved faster and the vicious circles one is caught in are easier recognized. While the integration of primes does not solve all the problems a person has, it solves the most profound. But since there are many other problems based on polarities, one can also solve them with little effort using PEAT.
